I would like to inform you that I have received just now from the Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) a Promotion on Sports Tourism in Cyprus.

Different sport clubs as swimming clubs, track & field clubs, rowing, mountain biking, triathlon, etc. are entitle of a funding for the year 2010 - 2011. Depending on the training level the can receive the following fundings:

Sport Clubs:
EUR 150.00 per person for a maximum of 30 persons
Sport Associations & National Teams:
EUR 250.00 per person for a maximum of 30 persons
The approval from the CTO takes about 7-10 days and is handled as a first come first served basis.
